Stop the development of greyhound racing facility at Wolverhampton Racecourse

What the petition asks
Stop the Work on a greyhound racing facility at Wolverhampton Racecourse, to sit alongside the site's horseracing operation.
The new amenity at Dunstall Park, which will include a track and kennels, was given planning permission in 2023.
The kennels are under construction with work then beginning on the track.
They confirmed fixtures currently held at Perry Barr Greyhound stadium would transfer over before the track opened in late autumn.
This needs to stop. We need to stop abusing greyhounds and other racing dogs. This is a backwards step and need to be stopped. Certainly no new units to be opened.
