Petition

Overturn the supreme courts decision on Transgender rights

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I want equal and fair rights and representation for the transgender community. The right to choose. Equal and fair treatment of men and women who choose to change their gender identity and to be respected of that change.
Society has gone backwards and the government has given a voice of hate towards a minority and community.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The UK Government cannot change court judgements but could introduce new legislation about this.

We already have a petition open calling for the Government to amend the Equality Act to define the terms woman and man not based on biological sex.
