Petition

Restore NHS Dental Services to Adults & Children in the UK.

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

• The NHS Dental Services are in urgent need of attention.

• Waiting lists for emergency dental care and complex issues such as extraction or infection work are currently up to 18 Weeks wait.

•Many people across the UK are in pain and suffering and this needs to be resolved.
NHS dental services in the UK face an urgent  crisis.

Eighteen-week waits for procedures like extractions and infection treatment are dangerous and inhumane, leading to serious complications like sepsis, which will increase pressure on NHS hospital care services. Increased funding and contract improvements are needed to retain skilled dentists and improve care. Many UK residents cannot afford private dental care due to rising costs. The UK requires dental care to be affordable and accessible.
