To update the equality act 2010

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The equality act 2010 should be updated to include more Sex, or even change this to Gender and thus should include at least Trans and Non Binary.
Due to the recent decision from the high courts on the definition of Sex in the equality act 2010, this now means it is no longer fit for our current society.

There is a lot of people who do not identify as a Man or Woman as outlined by this act, and to make it more inclusive this should now change from Sex to Gender or include ender or perceived Gender as another protected characteristics.

This would then aid in people not being discriminated against due to being themselves.
