What the petition asks

STOP HOUSING DEVELOPMEMENTS IN SMALL VILLAGES WITH 1 ACCESS ROAD, DESTROYING COMMUNITIES AND COUNTRY SIDE.

WE NEED THE GOVERNMENT TO SCALE BACK ON RURAL & SEMI RURALHOUSING DEVELOPMENTS, IN HOCKLEY & HAWKWELL, WE CAN NOT COPE WITH MORE HOUSING , CARS AND PEOPLE. THIS WILL BRING A LOT POLUTION, CRIME, DESTROYING THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES, CREATING HUGE STRESS AMOUNGST THE LOCAL PEOPLE. WE ARE ALREADY BUILT UP TO THE MAXIMUM. THE SURROUNDING AREAS ARE BEING SUFFOCATED WITH HOUSING AND CARS.

Why it was rejected

It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
