What the petition asks
Award a General service medal with bar BAOR for those who served in Germany etc during the cold war.. For those many that have already a GSM, award the bar only.
To acknowledge the service of our service personnel during the cold war.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions that ask for someone to be given an honour, or have an honour taken away.
