What the petition asks
Long hours with little pay. We are Carers, nurses, advisors, friends, family. We endure heartache when your loved one's pass but we have to be brave and carry on. We think minimum wage is not good enough and we need higher rates of pay.
We think we deserve more recognition and more money as it’s a tough role.
Give carers the recognition that's needed. Pay us what we deserve. We feel we work long hours for very little pay. We think care assistants in the private sector deserve more money. We think the healthcare sector cry out for carers to look after your loved ones and charge thousands to live in care homes but yet we feel they don’t pay their carers fairly! We need more pay. We think minimum wage is a disgrace. We think we need a minimum of £15 per hour
