Allow English nurses to carry emergency prescription-only medications

What the petition asks
We urge the Government to allow nurses in England to hold emergency stock of prescription-only medications at private aesthetic medicine practices, as Scotland does. We feel the licensing scheme proposed does not solve the immediate risk to the public should an emergency arise.
The Health and Care Act 2022 introduced a licensing scheme for all aesthetic medicine practitioners. However, we feel this does not solve the issue of nurses in England not being allowed to hold emergency stock of medications such as adrenaline and hyaluronidase.
The NMC have now stated that from 1st June, all consultations have to be face to face before issuing prescriptions. We are concerned that this could lead to nurses being struck off if they use these drugs in emergency situations.
