Fund NHS Weight Loss Medication for People with Medication-Linked Weight Gain
Closed
41 signatures
What the petition asks
Review the eligibility for the prescription of weight loss medication through the NHS, which should include people who have gained significant weight as a side effect of prescribed medication, including antipsychotics, antidepressants, and steroids.
We believe medication-induced weight gain can harm both physical and mental health. It can reduce quality of life, increase diabetes risk, and may cause people to stop treatment. We believe patients deserve fair access to effective support and prevention.
