Petition
Stop planning permission for a flamingo park on Scotlands beloved loch lomond

What the petition asks
Prevent the going ahead of the crass development of a flamingo park on the shores of Loch lomond. It has been resoundedly rejected on a number of occasions but from media reports now seems to be getting pushed through anyway. It will be an unwanted eyesore. At the very least ask scotgov to justify.
It would seem that local objection isn't enough to stop this development. It has been rejected more than once yet keeps returning to the table . The would be developer is persistent in his ambition, this development application having being in play since 2018 in some form or another. Its obscene to consider decorating Loch lomond with such a tacky Blackpool-ish 'attraction'. Lomond is part of the trossachs national park yet has been subjected to over commercialisation. We need to protect it!
Why it was rejected
It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
