Petition

Transition Protection for Skilled Worker in UK and their 5 yrs route to ILR

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We urge to keep 5yr ILR for skilled workers already in UK.Skilled worker contribute a lot in the economy filled key roles, paid taxes, built lives. Delaying ILR harms 1 million families in UK with high visa unexpected high fees and impact their mental well-being and disturb their kids education plan.
We urge the Home Secretary ,the UK Government and the parliament to:
Protect the integrity of immigration policy:
1-Respect and retain the 5-year ILR path for those already on it.
2-Communicate clearly and prevent needless uncertainty and distress.
3-Respect the commitments made to migrants who built their lives here under existing terms.
This is about more than immigration policy; it is about trust, principle, and doing the right thing.
