Petition
Introduce citizenship for commonwealth nationals
Rejected

What the petition asks
Commonwealth citizens from upstanding countries like Antigua, Barbados, St.Kitts, who have worked in the UK from the period of 2020-2025 at any point should be given a fair chance just like British citizens. Wether it was 6 months in channel isles, England, Scotland, wales or Northern Ireland
They worked hard and contributed to the economy and you don’t hear about them seeking assylum, overstaying or doing illegal activities. They’re too many Africans, Indians, and Muslims. Their commonwealth countries still have ties to the UK. I say give them a fair chance. Grant them work permits to work in the UK and bring their family.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly whether your petition is calling for citizens from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, and St Kitts and Nevis to be granted automatic citizenship, or a visa to work in the UK. We are also not entirely sure what you would like the eligibility criteria to be.
You may wish to start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do in relation to the migration of citizens from certain Commonwealth countries.
