What the petition asks
repeal the most recent supreme court hearing regarding trans and non-binary people, by allowing them to use the facilities that they identify with, such as; restrooms and gender specific spaces.
The most recent supreme court ruling has made a lot of trans peoples lives a harder than it needs to be as most if not all trans and non-binary people just want to live their lives in the gender they are most comfortable. The ruling also would result in people who have had Gender Affirming Surgery, are not comfortable going into the bathroom that aligns with their biological sex as they fear for their safety when using these facilities. I know a fair few trans people personally who confirm this.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
