Petition
Retain current rules for Skilled Worker while applying for British citizenship
Rejected
9 signatures
What the petition asks
We call on the UK Government to retain the current requirement allowing individuals to apply for British citizenship one year after being granted Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) especially for those who have come to the UK on the Skilled Worker route .
We also urge the Government to ensure that any future changes do not apply retrospectively to people who are already in the UK.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition which calls for a similar action: Keep the 5-Year ILR pathway for existing Skilled Worker visa holders
