What the petition asks
I think that in today’s climate in the UK, it has never been more important that Britain remembers its past and the Magna Carta of 1215 that has played a significant role in our constitution, Government and the British Monarchy.
I believe that there are numerous things from British history that are worthy of celebration but none more so than Magna Carta.
In my view, it's important to have a public holiday commemorating it, to remind both the populace and those who govern of not only its existence but also why it exists.
Indeed, I believe the Magna Carta is the stuff of Britain and a key part of its constitution.
