Ban door-to-door sales to protect vulnerable people

What the petition asks
We want the government to introduce a law that prohibits door-to-door sales to safeguard people who are at risk of exploitation and undue pressure.
We are concerned that door-to-door salespeople often target elderly and vulnerable people who may feel pressured or coerced into buying products or services they do not need or cannot afford. These practices can lead to financial exploitation and emotional distress. We think a ban would help protect these individuals and promote fairer trading practices in our communities. Vulnerable people deserve to feel safe in their homes without the worry of unexpected and potentially predatory sales visits.
