Home Office Personal Cultivation Licenses for Medical Cannabis Patients (CBPM)

What the petition asks
We call on the government to create a safe regulatory framework to ensure cannabis can be licensed/grown by patients at home, for those unable to afford thousands yearly on private healthcare or regulated pharmaceuticals.
Basic lab testing could be mandated to ensure safety and proper regulation.
Basic lab testing could be mandated to ensure safety and proper regulation.
Home-grown medical cannabis has been shown as a safe and appropriate substitute for regulated 'Cannabis Based Products for Medicinal Use' in numerous countries, whereby it's become a necessity for patients unable to afford the artificially inflated prices of commercial cannabis.
The current legal framework forces many prescribed patients to turn to cheaper illegal/illicit sources in-order to treat their conditions - instead many would safely and legally grow their own for <10% of the cost.
