What the petition asks
Many Muslims have to go into work on a day they should be celebrating, all because they cannot take the day off. As the UK is a Multicultural country, Muslims should be allowed to take the day off from work and celebrate with their family and friends.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition which calls for a similar action: Require all employers and schools to grant 3 days' holiday for Eid celebrations
