Petition

To get the government to supply sanitary products to women and girls in poverty

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Supply areas of high poverty and homelessness with sanitary products as often individuals who are struggling financially have to ration their income thus meaning a simple need such as a tampon or a pad seems expensive.
The lack of period products often causes individuals to conform to using unsanitary products which leads to many health problems . Additionally it impacts education as girls have to miss school .it impacts the uk highly , it was found that 50% of girls said that they couldn’t afford menstrual products at some point in the past.
This is a highly impactful topic and a real problem!!!!!
