What the petition asks
The current system forces hard-working people to pay for a service they may not use. It’s time for change. We call for a fairer, voluntary system where the BBC is funded through a subscription service.
Britain is meant to be a free, democratic country – so why are people still being forced to pay a TV licence for a service they don’t want? The BBC has become outdated, expensive, and politically biased. It’s time to scrap the licence fee and let the public decide what they watch – and what they pay for.
