Petition
PROTECT MEDWAY AND GRAVESHAMS GREEN BELT LAND. STOP DEVELOPMENT ON THIS LAND.

What the petition asks
Stop councils from reclassifying green belt land for housing. Protect green spaces in Medway and Gravesham. Strengthen planning laws to prioritise brownfield development and preserve countryside, wildlife habitats, and community identity.
Reclassifying green belt land threatens nature, increases pollution, and erodes community space. Once it’s built on, it’s lost forever. Wildlife habitats are destroyed, services overstretched, and green spaces vanish. We need homes, but not at the cost of our environment and quality of life.
