A vote of no confidence in the government

What the petition asks
MPs to table a vote of no confidence in the government and to go to the country for re-election
We have had enough of the incompetence of this current Labour Government.
Sir Keir Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper and the whole lot of them have made some dreadful mistakes and decisions.
We cannot wait until 2029 for the next general election date as they will bankrupt the country! Spending and borrowing is out of control and so is immigration.
Please can you kindly table a Vote of No Confidence in the Government and to go to the country for re-election.

Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.
If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could start a petition about that.
You may wish to sign this petition which calls for a general election: Call an immediate general election
