Review Maternal Vaccine-Induced IL-6 Responses on Foetal Brain Development

What the petition asks
We call for an independent assessment of vaccination policies for use during pregnancy, focusing on vaccines that induce increases in IL-6.
With no safe maternal IL-6 threshold established, this assessment should be precautionary and review guidance to minimise vaccine-induced IL-6 elevation during pregnancy.
Vaccinations activate innate immune (DAMP) pathways that produce IL-6, a cytokine shown to influence foetal brain development. Studies in animals and humans demonstrate that elevated maternal IL-6 levels during pregnancy, not infection per se, can be associated with adverse neurodevelopmental changes in offspring. Maternal vaccination policies should fully account for these known biological effects, reflect the latest scientific evidence, and adopt a precautionary approach to protect foetal health.
