What the petition asks

During drop off and pick up times there is a high volume of traffic.
There are people that drive at a dangerous speed up and down the road putting children and people in danger.
A pedestrian crossing should be an essential road safety measure outside any school.
This should be essential outside any school. The safety of pupils should be at the forefront of the government’s mind.

Why it was rejected

It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
