What the petition asks
To ensure for their services to music and charity that Tony Iommi, Bill Ward, Geezer Buther and John "Ozzy" Osbourne are given a long overdue knighthood.
They created the genre of Heavy Metal and through their sevices to this and their charity support are most deserving to have knighhoods given in the new year honours for 2025/2026.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
