Petition

Reverse the decision to remove funding from Midland Main Line Electrification.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Review the decision to terminate the next phases of Midland Main Line Electrification.
Railway electrification is strategic investment. The Midland Main Line Electrification has so far been delivered to budget. This is transformative investment in infrastructure that benefits the communities through which it passes.
Investment had been earmarked and has recently been removed. This is a poor decision and should be reversed.
