Make Carbohydrate content mandatory on restaurant and pub menus.

What the petition asks
Require all restaurants, café's and pubs with 250+ employees to clearly display carbohydrate information on menus, alongside calories and Allergens.
Carbohydrate counting is essential for safe insulin dosing for many people with Type 1 Diabetes. Without this information, eating out can become dangerous. Many menus already include calories and allergens - carbs can be equally essential for those managing diabetes.
Having carbohydrates on the menus may not only make eating out safer for those with diabetes, but could also relieve stress on the NHS. Carb counting correctly can be essential to people keep glucose levels in range.
