Bring back the death penalty for all major crimes including rape and murder

I would like the government to do this because the rate of crime in the uk is on the rise each year and this could reduce it massively. Our prisons are overflowing and huge threats to our society are being freed. Over all bring back the death penalty would make the people of our country feel safer and make our streets a better place to live in additionally it costs thousands to keep criminals in prison per year which is disgraceful
