Petition

Over turn Kirklees Council decision to not lease Camel Club as a night club

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

To open communication with Kirklees Council on letting Camel Club be leased as a night club and not ruin local businesses
We call on the UK Government to work with Kirklees Council to reconsider blocking the re-leasing of Camel Club in Huddersfield. This historic nightclub is vital to the town’s night-time economy, supporting local businesses, contractors, and staff. Its closure will damage footfall, jobs, and community spirit. Huddersfield is regenerating—this decision is a step backward. Help us restore Camel Club to the heart of our town.

Why it was rejected

It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
