Save Park Bridge Heritage Centre: Protect Our History from Private Sale

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop the sale of Park Bridge Heritage Centre by Tameside Council. Protect it as a public asset and reopen it as a community-led heritage and education centre, preserving local history and biodiversity for future generations.
Park Bridge Heritage Centre is a vital part of our industrial and cultural history. Its sale by Tameside Council for private profit would erase access to local heritage and remove a valuable community space. We want Government to protect it as a public asset and help fund its restoration as an educational, environmental and historical hub for future generations. Surrounded by Sites of Biological Importance, it must be preserved, not sold off.
