What the petition asks

Please make period products free for women across the UK, period poverty is a real issue in this country, and I believe that women shouldn't have to pay for these items that are essential in our lives.

As a woman in the UK, I feel that I shouldn't have to pay £5 a month on products that should be free in this country. It is a biological process that causes pain and heavy bleeding, and there are people out there who can't afford these essential items for women. Please make these products free, for our quality of life, and to end period poverty.

Why it was rejected
