What the petition asks
We want the Government to introduce a system that allows UK taxpayers to vote on how a set proportion of public spending is allocated each year.
This would increase transparency, improve trust in public spending, and ensure that taxpayers feel their contributions are funding services they want.

I believe taxpayers should have more influence over how their money is spent. A participatory budgeting system would give people a direct voice in setting national priorities, make spending decisions more transparent, and help rebuild trust between the public and government
