Form an English Parliament

What the petition asks
We believe this would redress the balance regarding devolved powers to the constituent parts of the United Kingdom. We think it would better represent the interests of England and its people, could help regain sovereignty and be more democratically accountable than the current UK Parliament.
We think that successive governments are pursuing an agenda detrimental to the British people and that public services have deteriorated. We feel our society has been neglected, and that this may contribute to crime, social unrest and potential economic collapse.
An English Parliament with a revised Magna Carta and elements from the Bill of Rights (1689) could adopt Nonmaleficence – the “do no harm principle” – and personal accountability as the foundation for the evolution of society.
