Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
We ask the Government to establish “I Am Ukrainian Day” as a UK-wide day of solidarity. On this day, people would be encouraged to wear “I Am Ukrainian” T-shirts or display the Ukrainian flag, showing unity, raising awareness, and supporting Ukraine’s fight for freedom.
We want the Government to establish “I Am Ukrainian Day” as a UK-wide show of unity. Free “I Am Ukrainian” T-shirts would be given out so everyone can take part, making support visible in schools, workplaces, and communities. This day would raise awareness of Ukraine’s struggle for freedom, strengthen solidarity, and show that the UK stands firmly with the Ukrainian people against aggression and injustice.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions about this are not a matter that the UK Government or Parliament are responsible for.
