Petition

Open an investigation into the use of VAR (Video Assistant Referee) in Football

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We want an investigation into how VAR is being used within English football. We also want an investigation into how the FA and PGMOL are allowing this type of technology at football games and the affect it is having.
We are seeking a ban into using the VAR technology within football. This technology is being delivered from a corrupt system. The use of VAR is not consistent and it is not fair. The PGMOL are clearly not trained in the use of the technology and are inconsistencies how the technology is used and which teams are being discriminated against with the decisions.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Decisions about how to referee football matches are a matter for organisers and the football authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.
