Petition
Provide a Skyshield over Ukraine to defend its skies
Rejected
14 signatures
What the petition asks
To defend Ukraines sky's and stop Russua from bombing Ukraines cities with drones and bombs
Because the UK agreed to defend Ukraine when it gave up nuclear weapons, and the only way to stop this war is to take away 1 of Russia's main weapons - it's willingness to destroy Ukraine's homes and so drive the population west, while using fear to drive Ukraine to bad position on the negotiating table
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you mean by “Skyshield” and what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions also need to be about something that the UK Government or Parliament are responsible for. Issues related to Ukraine’s defence would not be the sole responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament, as it would require the consent of the Ukrainian Government and possible cooperation with other countries.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the UK Government or Parliament to do in relation to Ukraine’s defence.
