Petition
Celebration of the patron saint of England
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
The government to legislate a public holiday to celebrate the patron saint of England, St George. Which should be as near to 23rd April (St George's saint day) as possible.
The division within the English public gives credence to a lack of solidarity and direction. This has been evidenced by significant ventures in flag planting in public (roads n street lamps). Parliament needs to recognise, support, and nurture
future generations and their patriotism .
