What the petition asks
Provide funding to offer women who have had traumatic births talking therapy post birth with registered charities/trained psychological support.
Women who suffer birth trauma are more likely to experience post natal depression or later in life mental health issues including anxiety and depression. Ensuring women are supported with their mental health post traumatic is vital for women to thrive in motherhood.
