Petition

To label meat sold in the UK clearly about how it was slaughtered.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Meat in the UK is being sold discreetly without proper labeled to how it was slaughtered.
Halal meat is sold to many schools. By supermarkets such as Waitrose and Sainsbury's unknowingly to most people because it is not clearly maked up. Only a number code to denote this fact.
I want the government to take action to legislate clear signs instead of coded numbers.
Halal meat is sold in all major supermarkets including Waitrose and Sainsbury's. Not to mention in most schools too. Even meat that has a Union Jack label on it can be slaughtered the halal way.
Clear labelling is the only way to stop cruelty to animals.
