Petition

Enough Is Enough: Take Back Our Right to Live and Work in Europe

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

We demand that the UK Government:

•Honour the commitments made in May 2025 with the EU.

•Establish the youth experience scheme without delay.

•Protect the opportunities, wellbeing, and futures of its citizens.

It is time for action. It is time to stand up for freedom of movement.
We call on the UK Government to honour its May 2025 promise with the EU to deliver a youth experience scheme, restoring our right to live, work and study in Europe. Since Brexit, futures have been stolen—jobs lost, studies blocked, loved ones separated. This is not freedom, it is cruelty. With a collapsing job market and rising stress, we cannot wait. Every delay steals our present and our future. Enough excuses—it’s time to deliver.

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

The Government has said it is working with the EU to deliver a youth experience scheme: https://hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2025-05-20/debates/AA6937A3-D577-4B0D-AB87-C2D230A0EA49/UK-EUSummit
