Petition
Make mental health days official in the education system

What the petition asks
I would like there to be official mental health days within the school system, it's important for developing children's mental health as school is a lot of constant pressure and it's good for children to have a break, I impose a day or two every month for this cause.
Having mental health days could and would positively impact children's and teenagers mental health drastically, and even save students lives. It's important to protect the youth, mental health days should be a thing, children need and deserve time to themselves to take a break, wind down, relax, go outside, catch up on sleep and have a happy body and healthy mind.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, we're not sure whether you want the Government to require all schools to close for a certain number of 'mental health days', or whether you want schools to be required to dedicate a certain number of days to specific learning or activities relating to mental health.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
