Petition

Equal Security Funding for Jewish Community Institutions: Protecting Community.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We call on His Majesty’s Government to allocate £117,000 over four years to enhance security for Jewish institutions across the UK. Jewish communities continue to face targeted attacks and threats, and we believe equal protection under the law must be reflected in equal funding for safety.
This funding should match that given to Muslim communities and be used for CCTV, alarms, fencing, and paid guards to protect synagogues, schools, housing, and community centres from hate crimes.Jewish communities continue to face targeted attacks and threats, and we believe equal protection under the law must be reflected in equal funding for safety. We urge the government to act swiftly and justly to safeguard our community. No faith or group should receive preferential treatment.
