Petition
Stop ICB Funding Caps on Right to Choose access for ADHD & Autism Assessment
Rejected
9 signatures
What the petition asks
We ask the Government to stop Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) from imposing funding caps on Right to Choose providers. These limits will drastically reduce patients access to ADHD and Autism assessments.
These are life saving assessments.
These are life saving assessments.
Funding caps mean providers will have to cut services once limits are reached, leading to years-long waits and fewer assessment options. Which is already happening within the NHS. Right to Choose was created to ensure fair, timely access to care. These restrictions risk worsening inequalities and delaying vital diagnoses and support.
These changes will not only lead to so many continuing to suffer, desperate for help and treatment, but also those taking their lives.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Following a consultation, NHS England has announced the removal of the proposal to require commissioners to set payment limits for elective services: https://www.england.nhs.uk/long-read/25-26-nhsps-changes-following-consultation/
We therefore not sure what action you'd like to see.
