What the petition asks
Ban the sale and use of fireworks for the general public, make a system of licensed and/or professional use only.
Fireworks, while beautiful, have many negative effects on the environment, animals and people. They release large amounts of smoke and chemicals that pollute the air and can contribute to respiratory problems. The loud explosions can cause stress and fear in humans for example, people with PTSD like war veterans or individuals with serious disability's. They affect pets and wildlife. Birds, dogs and cats often panic and behave unnaturally, horses and farm animals are also negatively impacted
