Petition

Bring in laws to stop politicians lying in their manifesto

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

Parliament should make manifesto honesty legally binding, create an independent regulator to fact-check promises, require transparent costings, and hold politicians accountable for false claims or broken pledges to restore trust and integrity in politics.
Politicians lying in manifestos misleads voters and weakens democracy. I want the Government and Parliament to act so promises are honest, transparent, and accountable, restoring public trust and integrity in politics.
