Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Totally ban the sale of fireworks to the general public.
Ensure all organised events use reduced noise or silent fireworks in their displays.
Fireworks cause significant and lasting harm to both humans and animals

Every year, thousands of people suffer injuries as a direct result of fireworks. Emergency departments and fire services are stretched unnecessarily

Animals, both domestic & wild, experience severe distress leading to some abandoning young, their habitats & shock so severe it causes death.

People living with PTSD, autism, anxiety, etc often endure heightened stress & trauma due to the unpredictable & prolonged noise.
