Petition
Increase secondary school capacity in Bromsgrove to meet local demand

What the petition asks
We need to apply pressure to the Department for Education to directly intervene and allocate funding for new school places or a new school in Bromsgrove.
Bromsgrove urgently needs more secondary school places. Each year, dozens of children are unable to secure a place at any of their preferred local schools due to chronic oversubscription. This situation has left families distressed and children forced to travel unreasonable distances to access education.
We ask the Government to work with Worcestershire County Council to:
Provide targeted funding for school expansion and new secondary provision in Bromsgrove;
Prioritise investment in growing areas where school place shortages have reached crisis levels; and
Ensure that every Bromsgrove child has access to a local secondary school place.
