Petition
Introduce an additional Bank Holiday Monday the day after Remembrance Sunday.

What the petition asks
To introduce a new November national Bank Holiday Monday to follow Remembrance Sunday in recognition of all those we have lost to conflict. It should be called Remembrance Bank Holiday.
Because people who have lost their lives to conflict have made the ultimate sacrifice for their nation. A day which gives the opportunity for the whole country to recognise this is much more inclusive than just a Sunday. Bank Holidays also bring communities together and can help boost the economy.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
