What the petition asks

I should like innocent people to be able to defend themselves against people who wish to do them harm by using knives e.g. These sort of crimes seem to be on the increase and some people are defenceless against them. A change in the law would be required.

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
