Grant a transitional period for those already in the UK applying for ILR.

What the petition asks
We are asking the Government to implement a transitional period for individuals who are already living in the UK and are in the process of applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
Many individuals have been residing in the UK for years, contributing to the economy, communities, and society. However, recent changes in immigration rules and processes have created significant barriers for those seeking ILR, especially those who may have been affected by delays or complications in their application process.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition which calls for similar action: Do not apply ILR qualifying period changes retrospectively to ILR applicants
